Mental Health Test
Health Classes!
We have our Mental Health Test on Tuesday (for A-day) and Wednesday for B-day. I will not post a review but if you study your notes you should do well on the test. I won't try to trick you, it will be very straight forward.
The test will include a variety of multiple choice, true/false, matching, and some short answer.
Please make sure know the following:
-Maslow's Pyramid of needs and an example of each level.
-7 Defense mechanisms
-emotions: are some good and some bad or is it our reaction that is good or bad?
-Mental illnesses: we did a blue worksheet and you need to know the definition, causes, signs and symptoms and any treatments.
-we will have about 15-20 minutes to review at the beginning of class.
--Good Luck! Email me with any questions.

We are in the middle of our Mental Health Unit. We had a school counselor come speak to us about stress and how to manage that in our lives. We will be having a school counselor come again and discuss depression/suicide. The counselor does a great job of discussing it and really helping adults and teenagers understand many different aspects of it.
We will continue next week talking about emotions, grief/loss, and mental disorders. Please make sure to check Skyward as it should be up to date!
